Round cornering doesn't just look and feel attractive on a business card; it prevents dog-earing when a card is repeatedly put in a pocket, purse or wallet. The corners are cut with a 6mm radius die on all four sides, creating an effect not dissimilar to a playing card.

Pearl effect card is 350gsm in thickness and has an iridescent sheen which immediately catches the eye. It is a very, very pale grey in colour which means designs of any colour will work when printed on to it. A full colour design printed across the entire surface of the card will take on a sparkling quality which can only really be appreciated by seeing a sample. Foiled business cards are printed on 400gsm board and a soft-touch laminate is applied to both sides. Your design is then applied using a digital foiling process to one side (we can only foil one side). The foil is applied over the laminate to make sure it reflects as much light as possible, giving a truly stunning effect. You choose from gold, silver, copper, metallic red or metallic green foils.

Spot UV creates a reflective high-gloss finish to only certain areas of your card. It is best suited to patterns or picking out elements of cards, such as logos, to achieve the greatest impact.

To create the effect, a UV-sensitive varnish is applied to the printed cards and then instantly dried using ultraviolet light. Because it is a digitally-applied process requiring no additional printing plates, it is surprisingly inexpensive.

3D Spot UV needs to be seen – and felt – to be appreciated! It has the same visual effect as Spot UV, but the varnish is layered up to create a distinct raised feel to the cards, almost like embossing. These cards truly stand out from others and create a memorable impression immediately.

Triplex business cards are incredibly tough, being constructed from digitally printed card sheets bonded to a solid colour core. Choose from 11 core colours and either white or kraft paper for the surface.
